Just a little note about new songs..

I just finished recording four songs in TN and I love the songs, I think you will too.

My new song "Chains" was inspired by being stuck for 4.5 years in a place I didn't want to be in.  That's why there was a delay in getting new music out.  I was working in the D.C. area.

When I finally broke free from the situation, "Chains" was written.  I went in to work one day and told a co-worker "I'm going home this weekend (a drive from D.C. to Alabama) to write a song called Chains."  I had no earthly idea of what it would contain.  Well I wrote the song that weekend and a year later - its recorded.  It's amazing how fast time flies before you can get certain things done.

"Who is she?" is a remake from my 1998 CD.  My producers wanted me to re-record it to bring the song and beat to a more up to date sound.  We succeeded.

"You used to" was written in my 20s but never recorded.  (many are not yet recorded but I always knew this one was an Ace and didn't want to record it until I had producers).  Well, it's cute, I think you will enjoy it.

"Oh Baby" is also a remake from my 2000 CD.  Again, the producers liked the song but wanted it re-recorded.  It is a beautiful ballad.

My compliments to everyone involved in the project.

The new songs will be available before Christmas.  You'll be able to purchase them from amazon.mp3, itunes, napster, and emusic.

This web site will change to a hub to direct interested listeners to the mp3 sites.

The demo songs will be removed but I'll keep the mastered songs from "Who she is" and the new songs, which as a group will be entitled "Four You".

Regards,

Desiree
